Since we last met, Venatrix has gained two new Talent Executives (which is extremely exciting and brings the team to a headcount of 11!)
Emily Hamblyn joined us 4 weeks ago and Felix Harper joined us 3 days ago! They have both joined Saskia Williams’ team - we can’t wait to watch them grow from strength to strength!
In true newbie, no pressure style, we sat them down and asked them a couple of ice breaker questions…
What made you want to join Venatrix?
EH: The incredible team, progression structure and industry presence
FH: Seeing the amazing presence you have on social media and the sense of togetherness within the team.
Coffee or tea? Milk first or last?
EH: Coffee- black one sugar
FH: Tea unless I'm too tired to function. Milk in last! ...I can't believe anyone does it the other way round.
What book or movie have you recently read/seen and why would you recommend it?
EH: 101 Essays that will change the way you think. I loved this book because it really makes me think in a different way, it has short essays for every type of topic life throws at you!
FH: I recently read The Stranger by Albert Camus. I'd recommend all his stuff due to his writing style and use of stories as allegories/metaphors.
What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?
EH: Next year I plan on running a half marathon- yikes!
FH: I am planning on doing a tough mudder for the Mind mental health charity.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
EH: Fake it until you make it
FH: Try and learn something new every day.
What three items would you bring on a desert island?
EH: A pillow (all about comfort), suncream and Marmite obviously!!
FH: A boat, a paddle and a map.
