Meet Elaine, our CEO & Founder of Venatrix. Venatrix was founded due to Elaine’s passion for all things sales, business development & her desire to want to work with a highly ambitious team of professionals. She won investment from notorious ex-Dragon’s Den Dragon and acclaimed entrepreneur James Caan, back in 2015: an achievement only 20 or so businesses have achieved in the subsequent years. Outside of work, she loves getting away on a camping trip in a campervan, taking yoga classes & exploring East London. If you are having a party, you definitely want Elaine there as she makes a mean cocktail and can spin the tunes too!
Moving on, we then have our Head of Delivery, Megan Pickett. Megan has over 10 year’s experience in sales recruitment, specialising specifically in supporting consultants at the start of their careers. As Head of our Delivery team, Megan is passionate about supporting people who are the start of their recruitment career and giving them all the support and time they need to become a super successful recruiter! Outside of work Megan is a Peloton loving, prosecco drinking, Theatre geek - and a proud fur mum of one of our office dogs - Chipolata the sausage dog!
Next, we have Natasha McLellan (or Tash as she’s known to the team), our Senior Consultant & Client Specialist. Tash is a superstar and has been working her magic for 6 years! She used to work as a make-up artist for Laura Mercier and… drum roll.. Irish danced competitively for 18 years! Tash’s favourite part about working for Venatrix is changing people's lives by jumpstarting their career (cue the tears).
The brain behind our operations and the person who continues to keep the cogs moving at Venatrix is our wonderful (self-acclaimed nerd) Bella Nabers. Bella is our Operations & HR Manager and has been with Team V for nearly 4 years. She is a crucial part of the team, keeping us organised and accountable, where on earth would we be without her! Bella played tennis for over 15 years, and is a dog mum to Jet. Bella’s favourite part about working for Venatrix is how she gets to work alongside our CEO, Elaine, to ensure the business is thriving.
Now onto our most recent hires from 2024. Last year, the business introduced four new incredible additions to the team: Natasha Kelly, Ross Hughes, Claude Stainton and Jessica Ramsay.
First up, we have Natasha Kelly—the second Tash of the team (because good things always come in pairs)! With a strong background in sales and supportive energy (biggest cheerleader award winner), Tash brings a dynamic edge to the team. Her favourite thing about working at Venatrix is helping people not just discover the art of sales, but to truly fall in love with its transformative potential. She’s passionate about empowering others to crush their sales goals, unlock their full potential, and take their careers to exciting new heights.
Next up, we have Ross Hughes, our Senior Sales Specialist! With an impressive 13 years of sales recruitment experience under his belt, and 12 years spent living it up Down Under, Ross brings a wealth of expertise to the table. He’s Venatrix’s resident DJ, an early bird with a passion for sports (padel and football are his favourites), a loyal Chelsea fan, and a self-proclaimed Jamaican cooking aficionado (jerk chicken, anyone?). Ross’s favourite part of working at Venatrix is placing extraordinary sales talent into SaaS startups while watching the incredible impact they have on the businesses they join.
Claude Stainton is one of our newest team members, and joined the Delivery Team as a Talent Executive. Claude is full of energy and genuinely loves getting to know each and every candidate she meets. She gets her drive from her athletic background…from boxing to netball to hockey, you name it… and she's played it! Claude’s favourite part about working at Venatrix is having the freedom to be creative and driving at getting 1% better every day. Fun fact, Claude has a Budgie named Norman.
Last but not least, meet Jessica (Jess) Ramsay, also a Talent Executive at Venatrix. Jess is a powerhouse of positivity and results-driven recruiter. She has a solid background in sales, allowing her to hone in on her skills in high-pressure environments where closing deals and building lasting relationships are the name of the game. Jess’s fiery personality and competitive edge make her a natural at turning a “no” into a “yes”. Her energy and drive is guaranteed to leave everyone feeling like they can take on anything. Jess loves that she has the opportunity to coach and guide ambitious candidates by helping them unlock their raw sales potential to find their perfect fit within a SaaS company.
