Venatrix, the specialist SaaS talent partner, today announced a strategic merger with NineTech, a specialist technology recruitment business co-founded by Louis Singleton and Jack McLane.
This merger and accompanying brand refresh strengthen Venatrix’s offering and firmly positions them in the global technology talent market, marking a defining moment in their growth and transforming the business from a highly respected SDR and commercial talent specialist into a full-service technology talent platform operating across four dedicated divisions: Venatrix SDR, Venatrix GTM, Venatrix Technology, and Venatrix Executive Search. Alongside the merger, Venatrix has undergone a complete brand refresh, including a new visual identity and website, built to reflect the full scope of what the business delivers today.
Venatrix is part of Ingenia Global Partners, the global recruitment group that brings together established, high-performing specialist businesses under a shared vision. The combined capability and expertise this merger brings will expand Venatrix’s capability and further establish its platform for long-term growth within the Ingenia portfolio.
“This is the business we always knew Venatrix could become. We started with a single focus on SDR recruitment, and that specialist approach is what gave us credibility. As our clients have grown, so too have their hiring needs. Bringing Louis and Jack over to form a new Venatrix, expanding the offering to include Technology and Executive Search divisions, and refreshing our brand, means we can now be the partner that ambitious tech companies need at every stage of their growth, not just one part of it”, said Elaine Tyler, CEO & Founder, Venatrix.
Elaine founded Venatrix in 2015 with the belief that most SaaS businesses experience limited growth due to delays in hiring and accessing the right talent. A decade on, that founding belief underpins everything Venatrix does. Named Recruitment Agency Leader of the Year at the 2025 Recruiter Awards, Elaine has grown the business into a multi-division platform with offices in London, Manchester, and more recently Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and South Africa.
Over time, Venatrix’s capability has also evolved to deliver talent in the US and is now expanding further within this market and actively recruiting for a US Key Accounts Director, based in either the US or the UK. This role will support multiple strategic clients with operations spanning more than 80 US locations.
NineTech was founded in 2023 by Louis Singleton and Jack McLane, two specialists who had spent nearly a decade building their expertise in technology and senior commercial recruitment. Operating across software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical leadership, NineTech quickly built a reputation for the quality and candour of its work.
The merger brings NineTech’s capability, network, and talent together with Venatrix under a unified brand. Louis Singleton has been named Chief Commercial Officer, leading Venatrix’s newly elevated senior leadership practice, while Jack McLane becomes the Managing Director of Venatrix Technology, overseeing the business's specialist technology division.
“We built NineTech because we believed the market deserved something more considered than what was out there. That same belief is what drew us to Venatrix. Elaine has built a business with real credibility, honest relationships, and a long-term view of what a talent partner should be. Merging with Venatrix is the beginning of something bigger”, said Louis Singleton, Chief Commercial Officer, Venatrix
Louis brings to Venatrix nearly a decade of experience placing senior sales professionals across LegalTech and specialist technology verticals, developed during his time at Oscar before co-founding NineTech. As Chief Commercial Officer, he will lead Venatrix’s commercial strategy across all four divisions, driving growth and ensuring the business continues to deliver at the highest level for its clients across the UK and US.
Jack brings over a decade of specialist technical recruitment experience to the role, having progressed to Associate Director at Oscar before co-founding NineTech. His division at Venatrix covers software engineering, DevOps, data, AI, network security, product management, and technical leadership, with a founding philosophy that the difference between a good hire and a great one is often invisible on a CV.
“The technology hiring market is one of the most complex and relationship-driven in recruitment. The best technical hires rarely come from searches; they come from experts who genuinely understand what a team is trying to build, and who’ve spent years earning the trust of the people who can make that happen. Venatrix gave us the platform to do that at scale, and I’m excited about what we can deliver together”, said Jack McLane, Managing Director of Venatrix Technology.
Greg Hollis, CEO of Ingenia Global Partners, commented, “Venatrix is exactly the kind of business that embodies what Ingenia Global Partners is built to support: specialist, founder-led, and with a clear vision for where it’s going. This merger is a significant milestone and demonstrates how businesses within our group can grow strategically, expand their capability, and strengthen their market position while staying true to what makes them exceptional. We’re proud to support Elaine, Louis, and Jack as they enter this next chapter”.
The merger represents a deliberate repositioning of Venatrix: from a high-performing SDR recruitment brand into a strategic talent partner for growth-stage technology companies globally. The four-division structure is designed to communicate the breadth, depth, and ambition of the business. This repositioning is reflected in a complete brand refresh, including a new visual identity, website, and the introduction of Venatrix's new strapline, "Talent that drives value", capturing the role the business plays in driving growth for the clients and candidates it partners with.
Venatrix’s four divisions now cover the full commercial talent spectrum:
• Venatrix SDR: Entry-level SDR and BDR talent, placed with rigour and long-term outcomes in mind
• Venatrix GTM: Account executives, sales leadership, customer success, and marketing specialists across the full commercial spectrum
• Venatrix Technology: Engineering, DevOps, data, network security, product, and technical leadership
• Venatrix Executive Search: CRO, CMO, CTO, CPO, VP Sales, and board-level appointments for PE and venture-backed tech businesses
These changes demonstrate a further step in Venatrix’s international expansion, with a rapidly growing presence in the US, serving clients that increasingly require a partner with both UK and American market expertise.
