Venatrix was founded on the simple belief that great companies are made by great people.
We started as specialists in SDR and early-career commercial sales talent. That initial focus helped us develop depth, credibility, and an extensive network that allowed us to become genuinely different.
Today, Venatrix operates across the full commercial talent spectrum: SDR, GTM, Technology, and Executive Search, with offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and a growing presence on the US East Coast.
What hasn't changed is our approach. We take the time to understand your business, your culture, and your growth stage. We tell you what we're seeing in the market. We measure our success by outcomes delivered: careers accelerated, teams built, and businesses scaled.
We want Venatrix to be the name companies trust when the hire really matters, and candidates come to to advance their career.
To be the talent partner of choice in the technology sector for businesses expanding their SDR, go-to-market, product, engineering, and leadership functions.
Providing data on talent pools, supporting hiring plans, and delivering against them to drive profitability and support value creation.
These are the values that guide how we operate, internally with our team, and externally with every candidate and client we work with.
We never stop learning
We ask the right questions. About the business, the candidate, and the market.
Curiosity is what separates a consultant from an expert.
We do what we say we will
We set honest expectations, and we meet them. When something goes wrong, we own it.
Our reputation is built on follow-through, not promises.
We evolve with purpose
Technology moves fast. The talent market moves faster.
We stay agile, adjusting our approach, expanding our reach, and growing with the companies we serve.
We know our market
We bring genuine intelligence to every conversation.
Hiring trends, salary benchmarks, growth-stage dynamics, and what great looks like at every level.
Venatrix is powered by a team of ambitious, specialist consultants who care deeply about the outcomes they deliver, for the businesses they partner with and the professionals they represent.
Our consultants span SDR, GTM, Technology, and Executive Search, and bring expertise, energy, and market insight to every search. From our offices in London, Manchester, and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, we support businesses across the UK and in the East Coast USA.
Elaine founded Venatrix in 2015 with a clear conviction: that most technology businesses don’t stall because of product. They stall because they hire the wrong revenue team at the wrong time.
Over the past decade, she has built Venatrix into one of the UK’s most respected specialist GTM talent specialists. From a single focus on SDR and early-career commercial talent, Elaine has grown Venatrix into a four-division platform spanning SDR, GTM, Technology, and Executive Search, with offices in London, Manchester, and a growing presence on the US East Coast.
What has made Venatrix different from the start is Elaine’s approach. She works with Series A founders not just to fill roles, but to help them think clearly about revenue team architecture, who to hire, when, in what sequence, and why. Her knowledge of tech growth dynamics is deep, and her track record speaks for itself.
Named Recruitment Agency Leader of the Year at the 2025 Recruiter Awards, Elaine is as well known for her honesty as she is for her results.
Louis leads Venatrix’s Executive Search division, specialising in placing CROs and VP Revenue leaders into PE and venture-backed SaaS businesses at the precise moment they are structurally ready to scale.
Louis works with founders and investors before the search begins to stress-test readiness, define what success actually looks like, and ensure the hire is sequenced correctly.
Before joining Venatrix, Louis spent nearly a decade at Oscar, where he built a strong reputation placing senior sales professionals across LegalTech and other specialist technology verticals. He co-founded NineTech alongside Jack McLane, deepening his expertise in technical markets before bringing his executive search capabilities to Venatrix in early 2026.
Louis is based in Manchester and works with businesses across the UK and US. His approach is methodical, candid, and built on a genuine understanding of how revenue organisations need to be designed, not just staffed.
Jack leads Venatrix’s Technology division, drawing on over a decade of specialist technical recruitment experience to help businesses hire engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and product talent that genuinely fits how their teams operate.
He began his career at Oscar, where he spent ten years building deep expertise across IT contract and permanent recruitment, progressing to Associate Director. In 2023, he co-founded NineTech alongside Louis Singleton, a specialist technology recruitment and managed services firm operating across software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical leadership.
Jack’s approach to technology hiring is grounded in real market knowledge, not job spec matching. He understands the specificity that technical hiring demands, the difference between a consultant who reads a requirements list and one who understands what a team is actually trying to build. That depth of understanding is what he brings to every search at Venatrix.
Bella provides Venatrix with its operational infrastructure. Originally from the US, she moved to London in 2020 and joined Venatrix shortly after completing a Master’s degree in International Business at Hult International Business School, and, in her own words, the rest is history.
Over four years, Bella has built and refined the operational infrastructure that allows Venatrix’s consultants to focus on what they do best. From onboarding new team members to designing internal processes, maintaining CRM discipline, and supporting the people function across the business, she keeps things running with care and precision.
Methodical, energetic, and deeply invested in the team around her, Bella is also a former competitive tennis player of nearly 15 years, which perhaps explains her instinct for discipline, consistency, and making every detail count.
Ross recruits senior GTM talent for high-growth technology and FinTech businesses, Account Executives, Sales Managers, and the revenue leaders who sit between individual contributors and the C-suite.
He joined Venatrix in late 2024 to build out the Senior Sales division, bringing with him over a decade of recruitment experience spanning London, Sydney, and international markets. His background includes seven years at StreamTalent and a spell as a rec-to-rec specialist across the UK and Australia, experience that gives him an unusually well-rounded view of what great looks like at every level of a sales organisation.
Ross is known for being direct, well-prepared, and genuinely invested in the outcomes of the people he works with. He was Venatrix’s top biller in Q2 of his first year and set a new company record for the largest single fee in that same period, results that reflect both his commercial ability and the quality of relationships he builds.
Away from the desk, he’s a first-time dad navigating the particular sport of balancing targets and nappy changes, a keen chess player, and a regular on the padel court.
Riana leads Venatrix’s Product practice, specialising in building product organisations that are designed around how a company actually grows, not just what the org chart demands.
With over eight years in specialist product recruitment, she works with founders, CPOs, and investors across Series A to enterprise technology to get the structure right before the search begins: when to hire, what capability is genuinely needed, and how to sequence product leadership in a way that supports revenue rather than working against it.
Beyond placements, Riana runs the Venatrix Product Room, a series of roundtable discussions bringing together product leaders across the UK and US for honest conversations about what works inside modern product organisations. No panels, no theory, no sales. Just real insight from people doing the work. The sessions have quickly built a reputation for the quality and candour of their discussions.
Before Venatrix, Riana spent over eight years at Maxwell Bond, where she built and led the Product, UX, and Agile Delivery practice across the North-West. She holds a BSc in Business Management with Human Resource Management from the University of Manchester. Outside of work, she is a competitive dance coach, a recently minted Yorkshire Three Peaks finisher, and a mum to a two-year-old who, by her own account, is the best part of her world.
Eorann leads Contractor Care at Venatrix, looking after the contractors we place, from onboarding and contracts through to timesheets, compliance, and everything that keeps an assignment running smoothly. For our contract professionals, she's the person who makes sure the practical side of working through Venatrix is seamless, so they can focus on the work itself.
She joined Venatrix following six and a half years at Hayward Hawk, a specialist technology recruitment firm in Belfast, where she progressed from Office Assistant to Operations Manager. Along the way, she managed HR and contracts, built and refined internal processes, and developed exactly the blend of operational precision and people instinct that contractor care demands. Having spent her career inside technology recruitment, she understands both sides of a contract placement: what businesses need to stay compliant and informed, and what contractors need to feel genuinely supported.
Methodical, approachable, and unflappable in the way that only someone who has run the operational engine of a recruitment business can be, Eorann is the safe pair of hands behind every Venatrix contract placement.
Sarah is a 360 tech recruitment consultant with over seven years' experience building and leading tech desks. Joining Transition Partners with no recruitment background, she built their Berlin desk from scratch into a full operation, placing across software engineering, product, data, DevOps, network security, and leadership roles.
She progressed from Junior Consultant to Director of DACH while remaining a hands-on billing recruiter throughout, by choice. Her relationship-first approach, built through events, networking and long-term partnerships, saw her work with businesses across Fintech, Healthtech, Climate Tech, AI, Blockchain and SaaS, from pre-seed startups to companies preparing for IPO.
Now back home in the North East, Sarah is bringing her full-desk expertise to Venatrix's tech and business community.
Jessica joins Venatrix from Cape Town, where she spent a year as a Teacher Recruitment Specialist at Zen Educate, a tech-driven education platform connecting schools with great teachers. The role gave her a sharp grounding in the fundamentals of people-focused recruitment: building trusted partnerships, managing compliance, generating leads, and matching the right individuals to the right opportunities with care and precision.
At Venatrix, Jessica specialises in SDR recruitment, working with high-growth technology companies to identify and place the early-career commercial talent that powers their pipelines. She is particularly focused on candidates with strong drive, genuine coachability, and the commercial instinct to develop fast in a tech sales environment, and on ensuring that the businesses she partners with secure the right talent.
Jessica brings fresh energy, a natural people-first approach, and a growing expertise in one of Venatrix’s most active markets.
