Join us in having the conversations that help us better understand the market and shape how teams grow.
Over the next few months, we're bringing together leaders across SDR, GTM, product and technology for a series of roundtables focused on the conversations shaping how teams hire, build and grow.
From AI engineering and evolving technical roles to product leadership and market challenges across the US and Europe, each session is designed to give you practical market insight, a strong peer network, and space to share what's working.
For our clients, these events are another way we add value beyond recruitment, connecting you with relevant voices in your market, sharing real-time hiring intelligence, and helping you stay close to the talent and trends that matter.
Wednesday 24 September, 12:00–1:00 PM BST (13:00–14:00 CEST / 07:00–08:00 AM EDT) - Virtual, 1 hour.
A roundtable bringing Engineering Leaders together across cities and countries to discuss:
- What structurally changes: team shapes, rituals and role boundaries
- Whether people change, or just what's expected of them, the widening gap in what "engineer" now means
- The foundations that need to be in place: the infrastructure, workflows and permission-giving required before any of the structural change works
TECH
Tuesday 30 September, 1:00 PM EDT (6:00 PM BST). Virtual.
The next edition of our Product Room Series is for Product Leaders and heads to the US.
This small, focused roundtable brings product leaders together to share different thoughts, approaches and experiences on one of the hardest balancing acts in the role: the tension between what sales needs now and what the roadmap can realistically deliver.
GTM
Thursday 1 October, 12:00–1:00 PM BST (13:00–14:00 CEST / 07:00–08:00 AM EDT). Virtual, 1 hour.
A roundtable bringing Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Leaders together across cities and countries to cover:
- The wins, where AI has genuinely cut through volume or saved real time, and what made it work
- The slop, unchecked AI-generated outreach and screening, "everyone's suddenly an expert" fatigue, and the over-marketing
- Where humans still win, the nuance a screen can't catch, what regulation like the EU AI Act is forcing back into manual hands, and what people have deliberately chosen not to automate
EXECTECHGTMSDR
Wednesday 21 October, evening. In-person, Manchester. Includes a complimentary 3-course meal and drinks.
Our next in-person roundtable is for Tech and product leaders (CTOs, CPOs) and heads to Manchester.
A rare chance to get a room that's half tech, half product leaders talking honestly about the relationship every tech company runs on and almost nobody discusses openly. On paper it's a partnership; in practice, someone breaks the tie, on platform vs. features, on what ships and what waits, on the roadmap the CEO is staring at. Over an evening with 12 other leaders, we'll get into who really wins. Not one to miss.
Want to join, or know someone on your team who should? Register your interest and we'll save you a spot.
EXECTECH. GTM
Thursday 19th November at 6:00pm. In person- Kricket Shoreditch, 35-42 Charlotte Rd, London EC2A 3PB
Forward Deployed Engineer is one of the fastest-growing roles in technical teams right now, and no two companies define it the same way. Getting it wrong costs you time, hires, and credibility with customers.
Our guest speaker is Anjor Kanekar, who spent seven years as an FDE at Palantir, watched the role itself change shape over that time, and now advises companies on how to structure the function, who to hire, and how it should evolve as they scale. He'll open with his own take on what makes the role actually work.
From there, it's a round table with fellow founders who have either hired for this role or are looking to hire, and you'll hear first-hand how others are structuring the role, what's working, what they'd change, and where they're still figuring it out. Coming out of it, you'll have a much clearer view of where your own approach sits, and what's worth borrowing.
Expect Indian sharing plates and drinks, hosted by Venatrix, in a round-table open conversation.
